You never know how strong you are, until being strong is the only choice you have. With over 10 million women battling breast cancer today, everywhere you turn there is a mother, daughter, sister, or friend who has been affected by breast cancer.

Sarita Tiwari a 43 year old Teacher is a palliative care cancer patient, mother and a wife fighting with Cancer for her daughter and husband. She has had a surgery for removal of a breast cancer tumour in 2019. She continued on chemotherapy and just when the thoughts of recovery strengthened, she had a relapse in October.

They have a 17 year old daughter who is doing her 11 th. Husband and wife are earning a enough salary to live in a city like Mumbai and give quality education to their only daughter. But unfortunately spending on cancer treatment has gone into lacs. Now it has become impossible for them to pay for Chemotherapy and the injections required for the pcourse.

The Durvalumab injections itself costs 3 Lakhs. Doctors have prescribed 3 injections and with support from friends, insurance they were able to manage 2 injections. The insurance amount is already finished and they have no funds. They can't even go to friends and relatives again. In next 7 days they have to go for 3rd injection.
3rd injection total cost will be about 3.3 lacs including hospitalisation. Sarita and Santosh still smile and actively go about their duties. Both husband and wife are part of our well wishers and keep supporting needy through Shivprabha but now time came that they need our support.
